Noise coming from rear
 

My friends 93 hatch has a rotating/banging noise during decelleration at low speeds. At highwayspeeds it is noticeable most of the time. The noise sounds like it's coming from the driver side. Possibly the rear diff coming apart? I didn't see any loose bolts anywhere.
