My Cluster Turns Off When Using The Turn Signal
 

So I am having a strange issue with my stock 89 240sx. Everything on my cluster works fine (tach, speedo, indicator lights) when I am driving around but anytime I use the turn signal (either left or right) everything on my cluster turns off and stays off until I turn the car off and my door chime turns on. Hazards work fine. Anybody know what could be causing this?
