Methanol injection on sr20det
 

hey i am wondering if anyone on here is running a meth kit on their sr? and if so which kit? I am currently looking at my options on running one..

what do you recommend?

What I learned about alcohol is if you gonna rely on it get a good kit. On my evo i run Aquamist HFS-6. Expensive setup but well worth the money. (I know not an sr)

Installation was easy and support is amazing.Aquamist even has a flow gauge where you can monitor the flow of the alky to make sure its not leaking or blocked up. Theres even a failsafe system where you set your paremeters up (simple). If the gauge reads under or over your set paremeters the fail safe kicks in and pending how you have your kit set up it will either cut the boost to wastegate pressure or change maps on your stand alone.

Aquamist is a very good kit, SNOW performance is decent. I used a system from alcoholinjectionsystems.com on my civic si, I really liked there fuel cell and there isn't any safety stuff but I ran it off of a ems so I didn't need it.

had a snow performance kit on my diesel - very nice product

i have the AEM on my s14 now - i'd probably get the snow kit over the AEM...kinda personal preference though
