Passing through Oregon/Washington?
 

After going camping, I'm thinking about heading north towards Oregon and Washington. Just a road trip with the 240 sort of thing, not necessarily camping, and perhaps continue to trek to Canada. I havent been to the NW USA since I was 10 or so, so I don't remember much.

How are the campgrounds there? City nightlife? Places to go/see? Car meets?

depends on what you're lookin to see :)
u the outdoorsy sort? LOTS of places to go climbing, hiking, camping, etc...

if you stay on the coast highways, tehre are plenty of big towns with nightlife, plus the drive gets downright fun on the coast when you start get north of Orange county.
