S13 Smog Fail :(
 

YO! failed the smog test today . in the words of the mechanic dude.
" The RPM's start dropping when the throttle is held straight. there might a be a possible surge or misfire "

SOAB! cant believe my car didn't pass :/ the check engine light is off too! So misfire i thought id check the plugs

i replaced dist cap and rotor. so that's checked of the list.

this is what my 4 plugs looked like in LEFT ro RIGHT order - 1234 -->

Anybody got any clues as to what may be causing the car to drop rpm's when its held say at 3k... itl start going 2.9 then 2.8 . its not a HUGE drop but i did notice that after the dude told me about it. also when i let go off the gas at the bottom of the rpms i head a misfire. :/

Its all good man no thread jack . Im sure we all wanna pass smog and get that shit outa da way anyway. il post up readings tomorrow thanks man.

so just got the paperwork out of my car to post up thw result #'s ... however on the report shet it says

ABORTED TEST
REASON: 14 Unable to stabilize vehicle.

wtf :/
