Yeah, I've heard. As long as we're not be abnoxious or drawing too much attention to ourselves (revving, burnouts, etc.) we should be ok. Everytime I've been there the most they do is drive around and make sure nobody is acting a fool.

is this held every thurs? my buddy sal told me he goes to edgewater on thursdays for a meet. maybe ill tag along and follow him up

that guy doesn't drive an SI does he? if so, small world lol.

not to say it happens ALL the time but that edgewater area has a fair share of ricers. back when i was active in the meets, i avoided that place like a bad habit after seeing the nonsense that went on

I agree it's not the best location in the world. But it will serve our purpose for now. Hopefully we'll be meeting at Drift Events :bigok: soon! One of the local members on another forum is trying to get a Drifting club started similar to Club Loose.

i've been on the receiving end of the ricers in edgewater.... back when i picked up my first 03 evo.... i went to an evo(mostly) meet.... this civic and evo were having a pissing contest and one wanted to show off and almost slid into my car, narrowly missing the back end by a few feet

Depends on where exactly you're coming from. If your coming from NYC you literally jump over the lincoln tunnel and you're 2 towns away (15 mins). If you get the chance just mapquest it. The address is 465 River Road, Edgewater,NJ. Hope to see you there.

it was good seeing some other 240 owners and members, i thought it was a nice turnout, large mixed crowd, a few share of ricers but nothing bad...i would come out again.
