Different s14 knuckle styles. Hub install question
 

I just finished nodding my knuckles and when I went to install them I realized that they were both different. One is the typical one that I always see but the other I can't figure out.
The one I normally see has the recessed area for the washer to fit but the other doesn't. Do I just run it without the washer? Im attaching a pic of a knuckle I found online that looks like the one in question
