Moving to south carolina. need advice from locals
 

moving to lake wyley south carolina , want info on local tuner shops, drag, drift, and auto x events. do u guys have vehicle inspections, emissions, smog test. how is the import scene and anything else that you think would be helpful to someone new to the area. thanks

I used to live in Tulsa when I was going to TWS. To be honest I kinda miss it from time to time.
What part of SC are you moving to?

www.slydestalkers.com is the forum for show zone but check out www.gunemdown.net as well. lots of good ppl/info on these sites.
The main drift spots are Myrtle Beach Drift which has a drift comp every month.
But also check out Street Wise Drift in Charlotte NC.

Also, you can do anything you want to your car here! I daily a SR wide body s13 with cage and harness. The cops dont even look twice.

Thanks for the info guys glad to hear there aren't a bunch of import nazi's out there, and I'm moving to lake Wylie South Carolina about 20 minutes away from Charlotte. It's nice to hear that there are legal places to shredd up some tires, right now I have to drive about six hours to texas to go to drift ervents.

You gotta love the no smog inspection laws esp since im just coming from California and know all too well about these laws. lol.
