240SX BBQ Meet – Seneca Creek Park,MD – July 12th
 

Hi guys,

Thanks to Ro, this spring we had a really good BBQ despite the gloomy weather. I say we try to do it again and have a summer BBQ meet at Seneca Park, MD.

Time: noon-whenever

Place:
Seneca Creek State Park
11950 Clopper Road
Gaithersburg, MD 20878

Park entrance fee: $3 for non-MD residents, $2 for MD residents

I will scout for a spot during that day...ideally the same spot as this spring or last year...both in the 'Oriole' section.

240SX owners from VA/DC/MD area are welcome to join in on this meet.

Now we don’t need five people bringing ketchup and six bringing napkins…I’m talking about chips, soda, burgers…you know the good stuff for a BBQ. We pretty much need food, drinks, utensils, napkins, charcoal and trash bags.

Alcohol is only welcomed for those of legal age, cause you might get carded (not by me..park police). I don’t want to see anyone getting hammered and I definitely don’t want to see any drinking and driving.

I’m going to update this post with the roster of those that are bringing something to this meet.

In the event of rain, the BBQ will be moved to the following Saturday. Is there anyone that is willing to meet up with me early?

I'd like to keep it 240s only, but there were some other random cars (just a handful). Most of those people were rocking their beaters cause their 240 was down.

Alright, I was just wondering because I wanted to go and meet some of the local 240sx crew. I am hoping to join this summer when I get a s13 coupe.

yea...but man...such a long drive I dunno if you want to ordeal that. How's the weather in PA? over here in MD/VA summers can be quite humid

It's pretty damn humid out here too. I already talked to my one buddy and he said he'd drive... We're still thinking about it and we'll keep you posted.

I live further away, so my timing is skewed. I can say no more than 30 mintues...but then again 66 is always a pain.

I got off Saturday. I will bring a case of Gatorade and do you guys need napkins or plates?
