Z33 Tow Hooks
 

I'm looking for a tow hook for my 2004 350z. Ideally the "fold down" type of tow hook, but something that will actually get used as I do hillclimbs and club track days regularly.

I'll just leave them on the car as I only ever drive it on weekends.

Anyway, I have been looking around. Basically everything on Amazon and eBay is for looks only. They are weak alloy units "not for towing use". :facepalm:

Because I have a 2004, I think I have a 16mm tow hook thread. (I read it here https://low-offset.com/nissan/350z-tow-hooks-straps/) Is this true?

The only tow hook I that I know will work then is by Moonface. (http://www.zshop.ca/parts/moonface-tow-hook/) They are $300 per unit though! :ugh:

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative that is just as strong?
