alternator not charging battery.. 1uz-s14
 

so i swapped a 1uz in my s14 , previously ran fine with no problems , swapped another 1uz with less mileage in and im having problems. 1 the battery would die after about 2 days of driving ended up buying a yellow top optima battery in hopes it was just due to an old ass battery.. worked fine died after like 4 days . noticed the alternator wires from the pig tail werent wired into anything . so i wired into 12v switched and 12v constant . after that i was sure i fixed the issue , after a few days BOOM died again . so i thought maybe it was the alternator so i had mine rebuilt and figured this time forsure i found the issue.. two days later its fuckin dead again! now im all out of ideas wires are all new and not cut .. plug has a bit of corrosion so i ordered a new plug just incase. ive been reading something about the oem cluster causing the alternator not to charge?? but not sure how true that could be.. any help would be great
