Hello I have a 93 hatch. Wondering what needs to be done to install the lock cylinder to pop the hatch open like some hatch have already. Mine doesn't have one.

uhhhhhh WAT?

all s13 hatchbacks came factory with the lock cylinder to pop the hatch open. its where you put the key, on the center panel between the tail lights.

you should also have the release lever that also functions as your gas door release.

is this what you're referring to? or are you talking about something aftermarket?

Ah nevermind I found my problem. I am missing my release lever and parts of my hatch have been body filled.

sounds like the right type of person bought a car with shaved body work
