why not? they dont hurt it... if anything they make it better... more actuate shifting and faster too so less time on the clutch

how?i know i shift faster and more acuate...
they just shorten your throw
i can not see how it is bad.... if it is designed properly then it should be ok... if it was not then i can see how not getting in the gears properly is bad...

It will shorten the actuall Shift, not the shifter.
