Hey hows it going guys?I wanted to see how many of the San Diego Schassis guys are still active and maybe we can get a monthly or biweekly meet going again like we did back in the day.

Id be down, I actually miss the in n out 240 meet.. Regrets of not going as often.

I don't remember those meets but, I do remember the ones that use to be in Sunbow /Chula Vista by the Mcdonalds every Thursday think this was in 09'.Hopefully we can get enough people that show interest and make this happen.

Keep it small, mellow and cool and hope the police don't bother and it could be cool. Hoping more people chime into this thread [emoji106]

ahhhh the Thurs Knights meets. Those were fun.

Man eventually if you guys did it on a weekend id consider driving mine down from LA.

I'd be down but I just got popped over the weekend and the cop sent me to the ref. Won't be driving my s13 for awhile.

No way....what happened?

Was driving to walmart around 10pm to pick up a few things. Get to the parking lot I see the red and blue lights of death. I pull over, cop tells me I have a busted brake light and asked to pop my hood. I complied. Apparently the cop knows I have a SR setup and writes me up.

Yes Sir those were the ones! The scene was so different back then.

Weekends could work for me maybe a Sunday evening meet bi-weekly?I would definetly would want to keep it strictly 240s or at least rwd nissans.Nothing too big where people start acting like idiots.

We should also bring back the SD Drift BBQ/meets.

What area of San Diego do you live in?

All i know is that Chula Vista and national city arent too kind to us.

Anybody been given or know anybody that's gotten a ref ticket lately? Just wanna see if I can just payoff the ticket instead of swapping in a stock KA and going to the ref. It'd be nice if I can just pay for the ticket and call it a day.

Not from personal experience but I believe I read you can pay it for the first offense and that the second is mandatory inspection. I'll try to ask some friends who been through it to verify if you haven't by then. Good luck dude.

Never attended the end of summer meet but that would definitely be dope too bring back again.So do you guys want to have a small meet sometime next week?

Did you ACTUALLY have a busted brake light? If you didn't and he just said that to pull you over then I think you can fight it or something.

Yeah. The driver side brake light was out. I checked it as soon as I got home.

^I dealt with a ref ticket back in 07 and I actually swapped all my stock stuff back and passed the ref inspection, but if I ever get another I would just pay it and figure out a way to register out of state..or at the very least make the engine look very stock. (see ka-t sleeper)


I'll be moving to SD in a few weeks and I'd be down for a meetup.

The summer BBQ/Meet was super chill at Mission Bay.

If you guys set something up on a weekend like bbq type deal I'd be willing to drive from riverside county . Car scene is screwed out here . It be cool to definitely keep it Nissan or strictly s chassis. I feel when it's open to other cars it's when it gets out of hand .
Plus I see all the members on this thread have a few years under their belts . I feel like it would be legit ��
