S13 headlights turns the car off
 

Hey guys,

My partners car has been acting up lately ever since she got her tyres fitted. Car idles fine but as soon as the headlights are turned on the car loses power and the EGI relay starts to buzz. Any ideas on what it could be?

Battery has been replaced recently, got new alternator installed (multimeter reads 14.3 when running), fuel pump has been changed and tested there was pressure going through, & checked all fuses which seem to be intact. Not too sure if it would be another electrical issue or possibly just a loose ground...

sounds like a short, unless you relocated the harness away further above where the tire could rub..

check the harness behind the fenders for rubbing through.
