S13 tire wheel question, 17x7 front 17x8 rear
 

I have a 17X7 FRONT and a 17X8 REAR wheel, i wanna know from you guys, what is the widest tires i can run on those wheels. its the 5zigen FN1roc (sp) wheel +35 offset.

u can run wide as you want. but that doesnt mean it would look good.
try 215 front 225 rear with 40 or so sidewall

yeah i'm running gramlight 57c's 17x7.5 and 8.5 and running a 225/40/17 all around and it's fine, i mean you could run wider but as stated before it'll bubble out and look bad. but you seem to be wanting function over form, so i'd say a 225 is a pretty much square tire for it.

but you should get wider FNs

I want function more than looks.. more grip is always good cause some times i don't like to slow down for turns.

if thats the case, then u should get 17x9s all around

and the have it in 4 lug, +20 offset, specially for the s13
