hey so something i don't think i mentioned in my posts is that i did a little bit of trimming of the dashboard support bar theres 2 brackets that stick out pretty far that kept my dash from sitting as flush as it does now so i simply drilled out the spot welds and removed the brackets also along the side i did simaler modification with anything in the way, i'm uploading a picture thats not my car but i'm just using to point out what i think is causing you problems
I hope this can help you out with the fitment issues just take it 1 step at a time

it would be great appreciated for your help with my s15 dash

just wanted to ask how did you mount yours?
because i mounted mine by cutting about 2cm off the top of the dash where it meets the wind sheild and then mounted it with the top 2 screws
However now as you can see in the pic my gear knob doesnt align as good as yours with
the 2nd dash fitting.

anyhelp will be much appreciated
