My clutch is on its way out and Im looking for a good, reliable clutch that can handle turbo and hard driving. I would like to have the pedal feel close to stock and streetable. Anyone here have any recommendations on which brand i should get? Im assuming stage 2 is the most popular in terms of streetability and can handle turbo. My car isnt turboed yet but i have future plans to turbo my ka. im not gonna go for huge power or anything probably around the 250 hp range. ANy help will be great. thanks

I just got a RPS sport street clutch installed last weekend and the pedal feel isnt too hard. I also had one on my 90 NA 300zx and was very satisfied with it until it got stolen.

I really liked my Exedy twin plate but it was overkill for my stock app. Got a deal on an ORC single only after I ordered new discs for the twin plate.

I'm using an Exedy Stage 2 works great compaired to the nismo street cluth that came with my motorswap. Have heard nothing but good things about orc and if my other clutch wasn't brunt up I would have probably ordered on and waited for it.

Search...

There's seriously been like 12 thread on this same topic recently.

As far as Cali is concerned:

NorCal says ILLEGAL GARAGE
SoCal says RPS

And yes they are both great clutches.

I've heard nothing but good things about RPS. I've got some friends who use them and they havent had any problems. I would've gotten one, but i needed a clutch ASAP (long story...) anyway, i have a Southland sprung 4 puck with heavy duty pressure plate and i LOVE it. Southland is based right here in San Diego, so i got it in a matter of minutes. They outsource to Exedy though, so in actuallity its an Exedy clutch. Matter of fact, there was an exedy label on the box. hahaha but yeah its a great clutch. Stiffer than stock, but definitely streetable. When it grabs though, it GRABS!

my opinion is get a exedy stage 2, but if u want it to feel as close to stock with less stiff and springy get a stage 1, but stage 2 can hold about 400hp compared to the 300 hp i think the stage 1 does

where can you find a orc clutch? i have heard good things about orc. i've been searching for awhile and only found their website, in japanese of course!, and some place in australia. if not then i guess i'd go for the rps, i heard good things about that as well.
