it's been 3 long months, but it was worth it, i finally got my jic magic sf1's though i could of swore my sales man said it was ride and height adjustable, it's only height adjustable. though the ride is execellent on all grades of roads, allows massive wheel tuck and still has a decent ride, this is way better than the previous set up i had, sportlines on stock struts. i would reccomend getting the jic's though get the one that has ride and height adjustability, i got mines for $1450 plus $125 shipping and it comes with upper pillow mounts only the fronts have camber adjustments. though to little to late, anyone in hawaii i am selling my car, log on to speedhawaii for details in the nissan section. to bad you have to get all the good shit from japan, it takes so long to come in.

duh, i was not complaining on the price, i was complaining about how long it takes to get orders from japan, i have the cash to buy all the good shit, just don't got the patience... three months is a long time to wait. i'll post some pics soon. yeah $1575 is pocket change compared to other suspension set ups i've seen, but remember my sales man said it was height and ride adjustable, if i knew it was not ride adjustable i would of spent $200-$300 more for a higher model.

So you finally got them cool!
IIRC, someone pointed out that they weren't dampening adjustable on these zilvia forums when you first ordered.
Your sales man admit to being wrong or is he saying that he never said they were dampening adjustable?

nah, i did not want to persue it and wait another 3 months another set up, but yeah the jic's look well made, i have 18" racing hart C-2's the back tucks the rim and the front tucks just the top of the tires, and the ride quality is really execellent, also you will notice that the front struts in noticably shorter than the stock one. i would highly reccomend a set of jic's . it is so discourages me that you have to wait so long for the parts to come in. so i hope somone buys my car or else i am gonna have much months of dissapointment ahead of me, plan to get every jic suspension/steering upgrade and sell my sf1's and get a higher model or the zeals instead.

ha, recon was first on my agenda, i went with my eibach sportlines and passed already, plus i am in with one of the inspectors, he did not even inspect my car, just as long as i had my avidavit and alignment papers, i thought coilovers were legal now?

yeah coilovers are legal now...but i think the problem with my coilovers is that they are too stiff...even on the softest settin my car doesnt have 2 inches of travel...same thing with my friends GAB coilovers on his 240...recon inspector pushed on his car and laughed at him sayin that $2000 coilovers wont get him recon...and then he laughed at my friend and told him not to even come back to get recon with his car cuz he didnt pass so many times...idk u might know my friend...he drives a 98 240...took 3rd place in the street car showoff...

here on Honolulu, Hawaii we are blessed with things like saftey check and recon, saftey check is like your smog checks, it's once a year where the inspector inspects your car to make sure it is safe to drive on public roads, things inspected are tire tread, windsheild wiper operation, headlights and break lights etc..
recon is a "reconstruction permit" where you take your car to a seperate inspector where they nit pick your car apart, here's some of the prerequistes, the bottom of you licence plate has to be at least 12" from the ground, suspension must have 2" suspension travel, so they bounce on your car to test it and so on and so on, the rules are so strict not many cars pass recon, you also have to get alignment papers for lowered vehicles and affidavits for rims and exhaust systems.
if you don't have recon, it could get very expensive cause the 5-0 down here will tag you every chance they can.

damn and people complain about California? hahahahaha I guess they don't know how good it is. Well that tells me Hawaii is a place i want to visit but never live. It sounds worse than Japan in the inspection department.
