For anyone who has done it...how far does the new pilot bushing go into the crankshaft? Will it stop automatically or is it supposed to go in flush. thanks

as long as it's flush with the outer edge, it'll be fine. any more inside won't really matter; it won't affect anything

Sorry to revive this thread from the dead. BUT, it's better than making a new thread!

Anyways, what do you mean by flush? Flush with the outer lip or flush with the inner lip? I've got mine in, and it lines up with the outer lip flush but I'm not sure if it's supposed to go in more?

Thanks!

To get my fat mouth in here....

Try getting a puller behind it is if is flush with the inner!! You'd have to destroy it!

so keep it flush with the outer portion of the crank snub
