I was drivin my car today and when i was gettin close to my destination, my clutch started to act up. when i pushed the pedal in, it fell right to the floor and stuck itself there until i lifted it up with my toe. i parked it and when i came back things were much worse. I started the car in neutral and the clutch stayed on the floor, but it wouldnt let me put the car in gear, then when i tried to start the car in gear, the car started to move, but the engine never actually started. clutch fluid is full, but im guessing its something in that area? any help would be greatly appreciated...

check your clutch slave cylinder, look around the boot area to see if it is leaking.
try squeezing it also to see if there is fluid that has leaked into it. if so replace that. Otherewise, you can check your clutch master cylinder for leaks also. But more than likely its your slave cylinder.

how hard would it be to replace both the slave cylinder and the master cylinder?
DIY or bring it to a shop?

If your clutch line is OEM, it will take a really long time to bleed. Do a search on how to remove the clutch damper box. If you bypass that, it will be much much easier to bleed.

Otherwise, it would be good to pay a shop to do it. They should charge a few hundred bucks to swap out both cylinders.
