I'm looking for a carbon fiber rear under-diffuser for a 240SX/180SX hatch,(if anyone has the "Mission Drifting" DVD, it's on the Green hatch, you can see it when they go under the car) also if anyone finds real aerodynamic bodywork for the same car, please post a link....except do-luck and C-west, I don't like the look... and I also need a hood that I can duct for a V-mount, but not a VIS one.... I'd really like to find a twin-vent one like they use on NSX's and MR2's....

You'll likely need to go custom, which means $$$$. Why do you want one? If it's for show purposes, smack yourself in the face with a sheet of Carbon Fiber.

I was thinking I would need to go custom. No way it's just for show, I'm a hardcore track fan....looking to do high-speed circuit and some drifting....Function over form for sure!!

Use Aluminum then. It will last a lot longer thru OTE's.

Underdiffuser: Well if you are not worried about $$, Top Secret sells them for the S-chassis. Check out the website and see if you can get a number for an American distributer... I don't know if they have one, but it's worth a shot.

No there is alot of Fiberglass covered in a thin layer of CF. Hence my "low quality, knock-off" comment.

If you're a "hardcore track fan" like you claim, you probably would know that you don't need a diffuser to go fast.

For the cost of a diffuser, you could upgrade your brakes or buy some damn serious rubber. Let me put it in easy terms: YOU DON'T NEED A DIFFUSER.

To better answer everyones question on Rear Diffusers for Silvia's (240sx).... If it fits a Skyline or 300ZX it will fit the Silvia. You may have to do minor modification, but at least your not fabricating one from scratch.

GarageMak has an S13 coupe with a RE Amemiya FD Rear Diffuser w/ Vortex Generators.... so this obviously works also.... S14 as well.

There is several available for the S15... OMG thats the same as an S14!!

Please, stop crying and use the squishy thing upstairs!!

Peace
Drew

Excuse me, but I'm trying to create poor mans exotic and don't have the money to replace my tires every two weeks. A diffuser adds FREE downforce (therfore grip) by smoothing airflow under the car....sounds cheaper than a lifetime of tires to me.....What are you talking about brakes for!?!?! I'll upgrade my brakes before I get a diffuser for sure, I just want to know where to get one...

the words "budget" and "exotic" don't get along. In the racing world there is a syaing that is universally recognized, "Speed costs money. How fast do you wanna go?" Granted you can do things that cost less, but nothing is free.
