Only in FS threads really.

All they do is burn some generic tune to a chip. Not really a custom tune.

PLUS...KA-DE ECU's require a daughter board...you DO NOT have a removeable EPROM in your stock ECU.

SOHC ECU's do...but not S13 or S14 DOHC ECU's.

I like how he doesnt say anything about installation except for its easy to install. YEAH RIGHT!!! He does have a little board that the eprom attaches to. I havent opened a dohc ecu yet but that chip he has pictured may be in there. Also, Im sure there are some ecu differences for obd2 240's.

the socket is supplied with the eprom, i talked to the guy personally. as for the removal and resoldering of the chip either do it yourself of go to a tv repair shop and have em do it for you for like 20 bucks or whatever. a guy over on the 240sxforums did a dyno test with and without the eprom and got a decent little 8hp gain.

yeah you need a daughterboard to stick the chip in, so you would need to solder a daughter board in the ecu, to stick this eprom in. its alot more work then how he advertise it to be.

IMO before you start asking silly questions you should search a bit more. Ebay sucks and the little people that in are in that circus, (they are there to rip off the ignorant).
At this forum you will find what are the best chips to use with what daughter boards and header types you can use.

Big Vinnie, I don't disagree with you... but for the majority of the people (240sx owners) out there who liked to get a bit more out of their KA, this may be a decent solution...

I won't mind picking up a ECU out of a junked 240Sx and get it tuned... for 8 hps :keke: ...

this may be a decent solution...

Not at all, they label this item as if it comes direct from Nissan LTD. UHHHH it's a scam, and I bet you it's a blank rom, I guess someone gulible is just going to have to try it out. There is no dyno result, and no proof that there was even any type of emulation done........Reputable companies don't slang there stuff on ebay... How about I slang you some baking soda and call it YaYo, (it's still a bogus product).
If you want a 100% legit tune. Just hit up Gabe Z at hybrid KA. $150 shipping included and you have a legit product..........

Edit: Also they state they do emulation for 95 and up roms, I already notice a huge problem with this particular ebay company.......
