i was going to reset the ecu, but figured that it would be easier (being my lazy self) if someone could just plug a scanner and press a button...

im too lazy...gotta take out the kick panel...*sigh*...gotta unbolt the ecu...*sigh*...and gotta screw a screw counter-clockwise?!!!...*SIGH* lol

take off your negative battery cable for a while and the ecu should reset itself.

haha yep, thats me...i already disconnected the battery multiple times, but to no avail...which brings me to my next point...not only am i asking if someone could provide a scanner in hopes of clearing the existing codes, but also to pull some more if applicable...

the battery should have done the trick, but apparently, it hasnt...maybe theres more that i dont know or forgot about?...

well, i have to smog soon so i guess im resetting the ecu...*sigh* so much work...lol

how long did you disconnect the battery for?
remember to put the ecu in diagnostic mode before you reset.
and yes, you are lazy.

haha just check your ecu codes man

read what code it gives you, then check the fsm.

it takes 20 minutes tops.
