Mike, ive been on those switchbacks on PV drive east a couple times, but i dont take the turns that fast cuz i got my 240 recently and still getting used to the nature of RWD. Theres a few more paths on the peninsula, some of which are much more dangerous.

btw, i saw this beautiful 95-96 S14 on my way home from work up hawthorne. i even gave him a flipup-headlights salute cuz i was in such a good mood (i love ending work).

if you guys meet in PV, be careful about cruisin around and doijn crazy ish. cops here are famous for their tricky traps. and ive also noticed a significant &nbsp;increase in popo population since this sophomore totaled his new M3 after goin 140mph at 7/8ish pm and smashing a truck (<--never knew cars could fly) last month. but there shouldnt be any probs with just gathering.

actually, if you run PV east 'bout 2/3 of the way up, you can turn away to this TINY ASS and WINDY ASS residential road. usually it's not smart to go fast in there, (too many blind spots through turns, and there might be biker/jogger/old lady there, and there r parked car on the side sometimes so you have to drive to the other side of traffic), but whazzup wingsnthangs! i'm in torrance as well! and if you havn't heard, i wrecked my 93 coupe @ the malibu run... so i'm STUCK NOW!

well, why a weekend? i see mr migs is getting out on june 1st, and i'm getting out of school on may 20th (my 19th bday, what a nice day to get out of school), who else is getting off? i mean go run on a friday night and scare the shit out of 'em ricers! if you in torrance, you will notice near skypark (in-n-out) is where a whole bunch of ricers come together and race. i know personally, 'cause skypark is 6-7 blocks from me, while crenshaw is 1 block away from me and friday night when i sit alone workin on my car, all i hear is "burrrrr burrrrrrrrrr burrrrr" and i cry over my car...

it's been weeks... my car needs to live!

there has been a bit of an increase in cops in Palos Verdes due to some bikers getting killed in the turns (one guy accidentally left his kickstand down d'oh!<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> and the kids who push their cars too hard. &nbsp; Since I &nbsp;usually go cruising at ungodly hours, we'll have to keep it a lil on the conservative side.

Well you can meet in the high school parking lot, usually no one there on weekends unless some gaming event is goin on. Otherwise, a really good spot to gather is the old Marineland site.
Years ago, Marineland moved out and pretty much all that's left is a unoccupied, unmaintained, huge parking lot. Plenty of room there (after all there used to be a theme park there), but sometimes sheriff security is there. No parking bumps, and mucho donut marks. My dad taught me stickshift there and my bro and i learned how to drive there. Just dont set up AutoX cones and cops shouldnt mind.

Heres how to get there from Hawthorne: Take Hawthorne til it ends on PV drive West/South. Turn left on PV drive south and drive for about for a minute or two til you see the big Marineland sign on the right. Turn right. See big lot. Meet. Wave to security guards. I think Marineland is open to public between 8am and 4pm...but not sure on weekends. Have fun. I'm going there tomorrow with my friends to take pics and check out my friend's "itrt" (installed today). Feel free to join us for pics.
