For those of you who have done your research and/or those who are already utilizing an aftermarket steering wheel....couple of questions.

1.Which do you think are the quality wheels out there (or list what you have as of now)??

2. How difficult is the installation of said steering wheel??

3. I assume my horn and/or cruise control will be lost.....is this true???

4. ....list anyhitng else I might need for installation

I have looked at the MOMO wheels and really liked the Champion edition.....

Try doing a search on google. There is a really good webpage that goes through it step by step with pictures.
I put a SPARCO wheel on my 97 without any instructions so it is not too difficult. You can keep your cruise control and horn with a little easy rewiring. My SRS system is now disabled but I think you could get the passenger side one working if you have one.

I have that same Steering wheel and you will not lose your Horn but you will have to re-route your cruise control into your dash. You can utilize some of the blanks you might have. It is a do it you self thing with your OEM steering wheel all you have to do is find the screws on the back side of you steering wheel. Unscrew them the movable piece should come off unplug the cruise control. You should see a 17mm bolt (I think) you can use a Metric 4 way to take the bolt off i Find it to be the easiest way. once you get that off the hard part arrives. there is a tool that you can use to remove the steering wheel. I never knew that! So I just wiggled it off from side to side. The MOMO comes with an adapter specificly for your car that should have instructions on how to put together (I forgot) it is a matter of removing the six hex head bolts and hooking it up to the stock horn harness.(More like Plug) That is how I remember doing it. If I am wrong or forgot steps just throw it in.

Installation of a Steering wheel is easy.

One comment about the Champion...The suede on top does tend to either 1. wear out 2. get all dirty and slick. Other than that it's dope.

Try Momo, Sparco, Personal or Nismo. Those are all good wheels

I will propably do without the cruise control afterall..really not that important...have to have the horn though. Whenever I get it installed I'll be sure and post pics. Might not be for awhile cause I have to order the aluminum dashkit too....hehehehe.

The adapter is sold separately. When you get the one for your 240 the 6 hex head bolts will screw into it then you will attach it to the large bolt sticking out of the coulumn and bolt the 17mm (I think) nut back on.
