my house is already like living in asia...we take off our shoes, we have a calendar from new hong kong seafood restaurant, we sit on the floor to eat, we have bamboo in pots, we always have rice cooking, and two 20-lb bags of rice in the pantry. my asian roommate's room has those japanese dolls that are hella expensive with real silk clothes. my room has my samurai swords and some chinese scrolls, and is arranged according to feng shui, and i sleep on a futon, and my asian girlfriend lives in there too.


and one time i made my own noodles from scratch. it's not worth the effort.

make your own wontons and noodles, foodnetwork.com's wonton recipe from emeril is great. i always make it for my family, easy too.

i normally go to the shengkee in the 99 plaza in oakland, sucks there though. they downsized the restaurant section, and cut down the bakery too.
