I have a 92 SE coupe and have been looking into keyless entry and alarm setups. Im just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what brand to go with, or if anyone has ever bought something off ebay and been satisfied, because ive found some pretty cheap ones on their that have what im looking for (keyless entry and an alarm).
Any advice is appreciated.

I have a clifford alarm and they have a lifetime warranty. I went through magnolia hifi and they did all the work for free.
It is nice because I've had to go in once to have the brain replaced. Clifford sent me a brand new unit and it has been a year after I purchased the alarm.

viper,clifford,Python....they are all made by DEI which is their father company. DEI is well known for their alarm technologies and other electronics. So u cant really go wrong with any one of those companies. If u want i have a Clifford alarm that i paid $300 dollars for that im no longer using. its also pre wired for the S13 SE. I'll sell it to u for really cheap. LMK if u're intrested. peace

I just got a Viper 350 installed by a local DEI authorized dealer, $285 installed, and after taxes and misc. fees it came out to like $305 or something.
Came with 2 remotes and a built in shock sensor (which I'm only relying on for now until I can afford the extra sensors).
So far, I'm very happy with it. Definitely recommend it.

depends on your price range....dont get one of thoes special 100-150$ ones you see at random audio shops...they suck shit....spend a little more and get a better one... i recommend a viper 5000....its real nice and its 2way =)

I've got a Clifford Matrix RS 3.5.. I like it alot. I wired it up my self, not too difficult w/ some electrical knowlege, a wiring diagram, and a multi-meter... It just takes a really long time. If you do do it yourself, just make sure that you hide the brain and wiring really well (a little looming goes a long way) that way if someone does get in, its that much more difficult to disable your alarm. The remote start is nice, especially when its cold in the mornings :D
