Ok folks. I’ve heard that most S13 240’s tend have a slight lean to the left. I’ve recently bought another S13 to work on; I’m concern with the car leaning to the left a bit because it had gotten hit on right side rear quarter panel, its been fixed.

Here is the impact spot on the right rear wheel well.

This is the damage seen inside the hatch right by the rear right strut tower.

This is the lean I speak of.

What do you guys think ? At first I though it was just the left tire because it was leaking air, so I replace it, and the lean got better, but it still bugs to know it might give me problems when I test the suspension to its limits. It could just need an alignment. Maybe it’s the different brand tires on each wheel. Which are both crappy brands.

Is this something I should be concerned with ? I don’t notice anything differnce in handling compared to my other S13.

Is it just my anxiety?

if your car is lean on the left side, add mre fuel to it, just make sure u don't go rich on it.

enough of that

actually, i've never heard of the "lean" problems, i have s13 coupe, and i've never noticed any lean problems as will.  maybe i should take a closer look?

as for some pssibility of the lean problem, it could be it was on an uneven surface.  i remember me and my friend were all confused why his car looked like it was leaning toward one side in the parking lot, it turned out the sufrace he parked on was uneven.  also, if you lean to one side, it's a possibility that your shocks are leaky.?

I have noticed quite often that when I have my car parked in our lot it has a slight left handed lean when my front wheels are turned to the right . This looks like stock body roll and will probably disappear when I install my Whiteline adjustable rear swaybar. Its all about corner weighting with the wheels turned in this case and the swaybar should flatten it out by evening out the slight weight roll i.e. tieing the suspension together.

i think you're way too paranoid about this, zelda.. and umm isn't Zelda the name of the prince in the "Zelda" videogame series?

actually Zelda is the FEMALE princess in the video game series.
As to a guy calling himself a female name, no comment on that one, its a little ummmmmmm <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

Zelda...its probably an optical illusion since the exhaust hangs down on that side. &nbsp;Thats my guess.
