Hey guys, this is my first foray into nissans (built mazdas, countless DSMs, and a few toyotas before). Why not dive in head first, right? Well, I'm in Iraq right now, saving up for my S15 build, and trying to spend all the time i get on the net looking for S15 parts. I've got most of the mechanical stuff laid out. Right now I'm having a problem tracking down the right body parts. I wanna go wide body on it, +20mm up front, +50mm in the rear. I've seen that D-Max and a few others make the fenders, but I can't find anywhere that imports 'em. Also, I'm trying to get ahold of clear (preferrably black) tail lights, again, no importer. If anyone's got any links that'd be great.

how are you going to obtain th car itself??? if you can figure out a way to do a rear conversion for the s14, it would be the geatest idea ever.

I pray to God that was sarcasm.

I don't think God heard your prayer... or he did and he's laughing at you.

and we're assuming he's planning on the build when he comes back. Its not THAT hard to get an S15 in the US, registering and driving could be an issue, but even that isn't impossible.

^Maybe on a S15. And only on an S15.

changing an s14 over to an s15 doesn't look to be too difficult a thing. both d-max and origin make the fenders, and some other companies i've cruised through. carbon creations makes a carbon fiber trunk for the s15, and accolade's got a nice rear bumper. the only pieces i'm missing are the damn tail lights. i've seen 'em on a few importers sites, but they're the jdm s15 tails, and i wanna go clears to fit the paint scheme. the overall project intent is to build an RB powered wide body S15. none of which is unreasonable.

Or a Grand Am.

You are not building an S15. You are trying to convert an S14. There is a monumental difference. Don't waste the money on the cosmetics, it's really not worth it.

pandagarage.com takes special orders just have to wait for them to find it and throw it in a container. they can get you the rolling chassis also if you want to put an rb into it.

wth???
on a Grand Am??

cause the grand am's rear taillights have that slight resemblance to an S15's taillights, kind of like the chevy impala's its taillights kind of resemble a skylines, either that or a corvette's tailights. something liek that

only way to make a s14 a s15 is to change the roof and whole body

only way to make a s14 a s15 is to sell the S14 and buy an S15.

There I fixed it for you. There is no other way to "make" an S14 into an S15. They are two different cars. Get over it, kids. It's like the old Fiero turned into a Lambo, it's still a Fiero. There is nothing wrong with the S14, it's a great car. The only thing that makes the S15 special, is the fact it wasn't sold here. Just build an S14 and be happy with it. If you want to put an S15 front end on it, be my guest. But don't waste the money trying to "convert" the rest of the body, and don't try to call it an S15.
