And found out I might have an unbalanced driveshaft. When I start from a stop I hear a shaking from under my shifter but never after that only when I go from a stop. I think its an unbalanced driveshaft.

How do I balance it?

A qualified shop. Castrillos is excellent if you're in the southern california area.

a Driveshaft shop can balance it for you. You have to take it out and take it to them.
Though if its true that your driveshaft is unbalanced there could be other problems. I.E. bad u joints and possibly bad center support bushing. Usually the balance weights on a balanced driveshaft are affixed pretty firmly. I have never heard of one coming off. So I would be looking at other things in your driveline being messed up as well.
The driveshaft shop can let you know about that stuff as well if you are not able to spot the problems on your own.

Hear shaking or feel shaking? That type of launch vibration can also be due to worn engine or tranny mounts.

i have the same problem when starting from a stop only. Iwhen the motor is cold its all good but when it starts to warm up i get bad vibration and thumping. This leads me to believe that the problem is a warped flywheel. As the flywheel warms it slowy changes shape once it has aleady been warped. I was using a stock Maxima clutch

out of balance driveshaft would be more noticeable at speeds than starting from a stop.

I had a problem where my shifter moved around a LOT in low gears and hard when I launched. When I got under my car, it was missing one of the bolts that hold the 2 driveshaft pieces together.

The center support is a more likely problem.

Thanks i definitlly feel and hear the shaking. I took te engine and tranny out of another car that worked fine so it must be the support. Maybe a bolt fell out or something Ill check it as soon as I can

Well a bolt was missing from the support and I fixed it but the shaking is still there. Any ideas?

Which support are we talking about. The Tranny Support? I know this is old but I am having the same issues.

^ its definitely not the driveshaft. I have a one piece aluminum that had to be shortened by a 1/2" and, due to some miss-communication, never got balanced. Mine wasn't noticeable until 50 or 60 MPH, and judging by the weights on there now, I couldn't imagine yours being that noticeable from a stop.

It could be a lot of things, subframe bushings, diff bushings, carrier bearing, mounts, etc...
