17X7" rims on S13

was looking at some 17x7" rims, is offset of 40 ok or should I get a different offset.  Not sure as I more familiar w/ offsets for Honda/Acura's.

+40 will fit, but if u want it sexy, try +35

Lip is more a product of the wheel design than offset until you start going really low. &nbsp;A +35 may give you a slight bulge in the spoke depending on the wheel but again its unlikely unless part of the design at that offset.

17x7 +40 will clear everything stock and depending on spokes may or may not clear Z brakes (my friend has more clearance on the stock 7 spokes than his 17x7 wheels). &nbsp;+35 will look a bit better and make them more flush. &nbsp;I have 16x7 +40 right now and its better than stock but that extra 5mm would be nice, not that I'm complaining as the wheels were very cheap.

There are plenty of pictures of peoples rides and wheels up right now. &nbsp;Search through those.

i saw soem 17's with a +47 offset, is that too much, i dont plan on a Z brake conversion..

i will prolly pick up a set of rims when i find a decent pair cheap w/ rubber, but i do also have offset questions..
