ok so yesterday i turn on my car and it is driving fine until i reach the end of my block. i was very low on gas and was going to fill up. my car started vibrating and sounded kinda like a wrx. i figured it was because i was empty and it went away when i reached the gas station. it went away and then later on leaving a friends house i started my car and it did the same thing. now it wont go away. my engine is vibrating pretty badly on idle and when i gas it it feels like i have no power. sounds like the timing is off but another person suggested it was the spark plugs. im gonna check tomorrow morning but any suggestions?

Check your MAFS.

you're running on 3 cylinders or less

i had injector leak when this happened to me but..

bad injector, injector leak, bad o rings,
check spark plugs/plug wires
distributor

basically spark/fuel

Sounds like your injector took a dump.

This is what you do. While the car is running, disconnect an injector one by one. If there's no change when you disconnect the injector, replace the connector, and move on to the next one. Once you isolate the problem to one cylinder, check to see if there is resistance with an ohm meter. If it's open, or out of spec of the other 3 replace it.

If it's not an injector, check your spark plug, and make sure you have spark going to that cylinder.

IF all that doesn't fix it, check your coolant temp sensor.

If that's not the cuase, check the TPS for proper operation...and also check continuity of the ground.

Hook up a tester, and wiggle the harness...see if the continuity breaks. I had that happen on my S13...bad TPS ground = all kinds of weirdness, no power, shaking, etc...
