OBX helica LSD... Anyone out there have one or know someone who does.. i saw one on ebay and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with one. good or bad but for 425$, if it locks and can stays together its a steal.But im not one to trust OBX when i have options like Kaaz and nismo.But they are twice as much.just wondering thanx.

well the middle ground between OBX and kaaz is the OEM S15 helical diff.

Can't speak against OBX, yet I haven't heard people rave about them. They're fairly new, right? Go with a tried and true manufacturer. $900 once is less headache than $400 twice. I just installed a VLSD yesterday and it still locks up... don't ask how I know. Gonna save my old pumpkin for a Kaaz unit later.

they've been out for Honda's for awhile.

It's hit and miss. Some are perfectly machined, some aren't. Some come misassembled, some don't. It seems the majority are good, and they are just as tough as the quaif units they copied.

first of all, hlsd doesn't 'lock'; it transfers torque (not the best for drifting). And yes KAAZ and nismo are much more expensive, but they've been used many times with no real problems.

obx lsds seem to be fine for hondas. theres a huge discussion thread I just bumped that I participated in alot already, please check that one out and/or post there so its more in one right place. I would love to see reviews or anyone who actually has it but nobody has posted there yet on end result

well i wanted to get a s15 lsd but i was talked out of it by a couple of people....they say its too much hassle for what you get...i personlly wish i could get one still but i dont have the slightest clue where tostart or how to install it

there was a huge thread, but no one talking about the performance. It was a thread about another thread on Honda-tech.
