i remember it being out in the open that he used adaptors with a different bolt pattern to use those wheels so it wasnt like a big secretive scam or anything...i guess it was your mistake not asking and his for not confirming with you...in any event, you should try to privately resolve the issue...

No I assure you that it was no mistake. He's an immature kid and a scammer. Unfortunately, he got me too. I didn't hesitate to pay him since I had a friend vouch for him (they were friends when my buddy lived in Texas). Turns out the vouch from a friend didn't mean anything to Charlie. Sold me an aero kit showing me pictures from far away saying "only scrapes and chips!"
The kit I got had holes! The front bumper had been broken into pieces, beyond repair...and then repaired extremely poorly. When I tried to resolve it he simply said "i told you it was used"...Then he cut off all contact with me! Even his mother sent me a nasty email saying "I'm sorry you regret your poor decision making skills in this purchase"

I guess idiot just runs in that family.

dude, i sold you thoes wheels like 6 months ago. i included the wheel adapters in the packaging, with gorilla lug nuts, lock nuts, both keys, and tires already mounted, for 1850 shipped. i GAVE thoes wheels away. cheap as hell.
i sent you pictures of the wheels mounted on my car (s14) what did you think i photoshopped it? i only put like 3000 miles on them anyway.

just put the wheel adapters i included on there, then mount the wheels to thoes. works perfect, i had no vibrations and i wasnt even using hub centering rings.

mainevent - i sent you pictures of the stupid kit like seriously 5 minutes before i put it in the box. i told you like a million times that i would fix it but i would need another week to do the fiberglass work. you were like "nah dude its cool im not expecting to just slap it on", "please send it out asap you dont have to worry about prep" what the hell else do you want me to do. i offer to fix it, send you pictures, you say ok, what else can i do. so sick of this crap.

ill vouch for chmercer, and since you have redshift in your sig ask gary who mike peters is. like stated earlier in this thread it was no secret at all those were bmw bolt pattern wheels, adn that he used spacers, adn i remember him tryign to sell the wheels/spacers and every thread i saw clearly stated they are bmw bolt pattern, as most the places he tried to sell them were bmw forums.

and on the bodykit, it was used, but post pics, i saw it and there werent any gapingholes, unless you mean mounting holes. post pics id like to see these "holes"

I know who you are too. I'll let Gary know you say hi. I don't know the last time you saw the kit or what condition it was in when you did, but when I recieved it, it was in no condition to say "average scrapes and blemishes"



I'll go piece by piece

Passenger Side Skirt- OK, not too much issue with this one, I have body damage so I have to cut to fit, no huge problems!

Driver's Side Skirt- Fit on like a glove, one huge hole under the front corner, not a problem, who can see that? I can glass it fine. At the rear on the side, there was a HUGE chunk of what seemed to be a poor fiberglass job. OK, i fixed it and it looks perfect now.

Rear Bumper- Crack in the center on the skirt part, no problem I can fix that. Passenger side corner, at the lower curve of the "bumper" above the skirt, there was a 4.5" crack that was missing material in the center about the size of my pinky.This was difficult because the material was so cracked (in a y shape) that it wasn't holding shape properly...i had to brace it up a little to fix it right. It's ok after about 3 hours of fiberglass work.

Passenger side, side on the skirt. A large crack, also missing material, about the size of my thumb (whole finger, not tip) This one was OK.


FRONT BUMPER-
This is what I had a problem with...He said nothing was broken in half! The lower lip is completely detached in the center portion, the uprights are cracked in half. The front left side of the lip is completely broken and "repaired" THere is a bunch of foam in it, obviously to re-shape it. There is a lumpy patch of carbon fiber on the bottom filing in what is obviously a cut out section. I can take detailed pictures if you want since I literally haven't touched that piece.



Chmercer-

The reason I asked you to ship it out asap and I'll deal w/ the repairs was this:
1. You said it was only minor shit, so it shouldn't be hard to fix up in a day. I thought "ok cool, i'll take a sunday or 2 to prep it up and put it on"

You sent 2 pictures from about 10 feet away. You didn't highlight any of the more severely damaged parts or anything like that. In fact, in your for sale thread, you even used pictures of your car from when the kit was just painted!...you never mentioned that it had been nearly destroyed since then.


2. You had taken 2 weeks after I made payment and you STILL hadn't even packed it up. I was getting anxious to get the damn thing shipped out. I mean...if you didn't even have it ready to ship, why would you accept payment? You said it was ready to go so I paid right away to expedite the process. If Brandon hadn't vouched for you, then I would never have been so hasty.

1st, you never said or listed in your for sale post that the wheels were 5x120 bolt pattern and you never said the wheels needed to use adapters. 2nd, you told me you were just giving me 25mm spacers becuz you had no use for them and you never said that those were necessary adapters to put on the wheels

no way i said they were wheel adapters. they arent for a bmw anyway the hub bore is too small i believe they were off a porsche. i dont see what the problem is anyway since they fit just fine. ???
