Does it crank? or does the starter drag?
Sometimes when you don't drive yoru car for a period of time, you'll have to crank it for about 15seconds at a time to get everything lubbed up. No more than that with the gas pedal on WOT. You could have flooded the motor, so make sure you try and clear it out. When you are on WOT during cranking, the ECU will not pulse the injectors, because most cars with EFI should see that as flood control.

i don't have a mult-meter to check the batt. volts.
the car is cranking and also i noticed that i'm not getting any spark to the spark plugs. i'm guessing its the ignitor.

what's up man - sorry to hear your "family" vehicle is giving you problems.
Do you hear a click in the engine bay?
Does it even try to crank?
If not check the small connection at the starter, sometimes that connection gets dirty and wont have a good connection. I had to cut that plug off and get a regular spade connector because the KA harness plug is actually a little too bit.
If that does not help check the interlock relay (little blut relay near battery tray)

whats up, my family car ended up getting fixed(a spark plug broke off in the head) late nov. and i ended up picking somethimg up early this month not to far from my town.
anyways, the engine is cranking good and hard; therefore, i don't think its the starter.
what i do know is that i'm not getting any spark.
