hey fellas. &nbsp;well my A/C is busted(it has been since I bought it) & i dont want to fix it b/c i dont believe in car air conditioning(drains HP plus i always drive with the windows down neways) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':cool:'> &nbsp;so its just taking up space & adding extra weight so i wanna get rid of it. &nbsp;can anyone give me an overview of what's involved in removing it? &nbsp;thanks!

well it's fairly difficult to remove all of the A/C system, and having it there, even inoperational increases the vehicles value. &nbsp;It's better to leave all the componants on, and just remove the A/C belt if your thinkin about the slight power drain from spinning a non-engaged pully on the compressor.

i took it outta my coupe my ac wasnt charged at all so i just unbolted the compressor condensor and buzz tooled off the piping cause i dont beleive in ac as well.

now i just need to take out the little things under the dash and get grommets for the firewall that makes it look like therewas no ac from the factory (except for the temp cluster thingy mah jiggy
