strange noise

When im going pretty quick into a corner and I turn the steering wheel fast, there is a pretty loud clunky sound coming from the front of the car , more to under the floor behind the firewall. I think it might be something to do with the steering? Anyone had a similar problem?  :!:

I have heard that shot T/C rod bushings can cause that. But the location your talking about would rule that out. I would still check them cuz sometimes sounds are hard to pin point.

are the bushings made of poly urethane? Would it be cheap to pick up a new set from nissan?

i had that on both sides, it was my front sway bar end links, they were not expensive to replace at all

I don't know if it is your t/c rods but they are silicone filled rubber bushings.  You can replace them with poly bushings from pdm-racing.com for $40 if they are bad.
