It depends on where you live at....I asked a cop the other day about doing the engine swap and legalities of it. &nbsp;He told me it was perfectly legal in the state of Texas as long as the engine had the vin number (I believe he said the vin #) and could pass emmisions. &nbsp;He later told me I could register the car in a different county without emmisions laws in order to get around that part of the inspection, if I had trouble. &nbsp;I live in Texas; Dallas / Fort Worth area.
