This is from a WRX forum.
This is not my racing story, just something I saw this weekend. Crusing home about mid afternoon on Saturday, I am coming up to a red light. As I approach, two cars pass me quickly and one swings into my lane. There was plenty of roon, so it was no big deal. As I come to a stop I can hear them reving at each other through the open sun roof. I knew I was going to see a quick race. In the left lane was a later model 240SX with Aftermarket bodywork, big exhaust, etc. In the right lane was a lowered prelude with Dual exhaust (Go figure). They are both pretty loud, and I was thinking this should be enntertaining to watch. As the other lane's light turns yellow, I notice something leaking from the 240SX. As first I thought maybe he lost a radiator hose or something, then I dawns on me, he is spraying something (I Guess Water) from nozzles mounted just infront of his front wheels. It's spraying on both sides, so I guess he's covered no matter what side he starts on. When the light turns green, the Prelude looses all traction and the 240 just motors away from him, and I was dying laughing.
My guess is he rerouted his window washers down there. It's a pretty clever idea, if not plain sneaky. I just hope it's just water, leaving anything else on the road is just plain wrong.
