I'm running an Apex'i AVC-R and it's great. I've used some of the first HKS EVO's and GReddy Profec B.

The best in my opinion and the hottest looking is the Apex'i AVC-R, now only if it wasn't discontinued hehe.....:sadwavey:

What's this I hear that there's a version of the HKS EVC V that you can buy without the display unit for cheaper?

Profec B spec II w/scrambler.

Never used any other EBC's besides this one. I had to read a few online reviews on how to tune the stupid thing (Greddy instructions suck) but now it works pretty well.

The Functions on the PBII let u smoothe out the boost curve so ur car doesnt feel like u just hit vtec y0. It also lets u mess with when your wastegate starts to open so u can get better boost response.

Cliff notes:
1.) Good Controler if u have half a brain and can learn how to tune it.
2.) Instructions suck, and not being able to set a specific boost level is also pretty gay.
3.) The remote switching system (scrambler) is pretty cool tho . . . lets u switch from Lo to Hi boost mode w/out touching the controller.

I have yet to see anyone with one but have friends with the sbc-id

I have Blitz D-SBC Spec-S (oxymoron), and I love it, its easy to set, 4 easy to use on the fly saved settings. Owner of TF says of all the ones he has messed with working at shops he likes the D-SBC the best.

Have a friend with a profec b and that is pretty similar to the D-SBC, if you are looking for one get a simple one, no need for fancy screens and stuff... Too much money and nothing spectacular.

if moneys an issue and your driving for personal fun and daily driving then i recommend a mbc or none , i run a type s and its cool but its not much different then anyother one i have used , for safty i would run a mbc so you never get temped to try 35# for the hell of it

^ 35#??

You reffering to 35% wastgate duty/gain on an EBC?

Steeles - that's the one! Thanks.

I knew it was out, and I knew about it, just didn't know what it was called. That's most likely what I will end up getting, after reading some reviews.

So... how bout a review on that EVC EZ II Steeles? Or have you already reviewed it?

Thinking about the EVC when you install it tell me what you think of it.

AVC-R...i like it but it took me awhile to fine tune the duty settings to get it to where I want it to be at. It was either spiking on initial boost up or boost starts dropping on the higher RPMS.
