maybe i'm looking at this picture wrong but doesn't the hood close over that? so you have to cut a hole in the hood for the hook to pass through?

i believe you cut a notch so the hood can close.

are those strut tower hooks pretty universal?

race cars will do a hook like that, through the front bumper or just attach the the cage. Odds are if your getting towed, they will use nylon strap and not a chain, most track use straps on their tow vehicles.

But agian all my references are for the track, cause im guessing he "needs" them to be track legal or auto X legal.

also i spoke w/ scca that hook won't pass.. it has to be front of car.
go figure.. i wanted that hook but instead i made one
