i have a suede sparco steering wheel, over the past forever it turned mostly into leather, just wanted to know if there's some type of product out there that magically turns it back into suede, if so what's the product called? or should i just buy another steering wheel lol, my steering wheel grip sucks

I wear suede boots everyday. The best thing to do is "rake" the suede. This keeps it from getting matted down and smoothing out. Hope this helps with the steering wheel. They sell suede care kits, just try and find one.

Also, as an idea, a good stiff brush might do the trick as well.

A brush won't work that well if the nap is really worn down (brushing takes a long time). Use a really fine grit sandpaper to bring the nap back up then maintain it with a stiff brush.

my OMP wheel is no longer suede, and has a hole where the "up" ring is.

ive tried a brass brush, it just takes forever.

Suede steering wheels are only designed to last 30,000miles. Just like shift knobs. They are consumables.

You are not suppose to use your Suede wheel without racing gloves...if you use gloves it will last longer. You always have some greese on your skin which destroyes the Suede.
