My 240 has a little front end damage and needs a new radiator support. There is another piece that is bent and i am not sure what it is. It is connected to the bottom of the radiator support. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Aaron

That is the tension rod braket. Spend a little extra money and get the nismo power brace. It will replace both sides, and give more chassis rigidity.

holy shit dude.... wtf happened? all that rust.. it looks like your car is 50 years old.
but yeah, that's the tension rod bracket. sometimes, though... when there's a little damage, the bracket won't want to line up with the holes. in that case, you'll need to take the car out to the shop to get it realigned. good luck, man. .. damn...

If you don't want to spend a lot of $, you can probably find one at a junkyard. I've seen a few of those in tact at local PnP's.
just thought id throw it out there.

I too am shocked. WTF mate? Did you kiss a boulder or curb?
PS, get a Nismo powerbrace.
Oh, and that lower part would more likely need to be repaired rather than replaced. I've always assumed the rad. support was the supporting pieces that held up the headlights and motor and that jazz.
But being as i don't have one myself, i'll just sit and wait for Russ to tune in.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO russ!

The more I look at that picture, the more it appears the lower core support is no longer perpendicular to the frame rails.

It's sad to see s chassis with lots of rust, but oceans and salted roads will do that. I would try to get that rust taken care of asap, since you already have to get some stuff done.
