here are a couple pictures of my ka turbo build that is underway. my boss's car has an upcoming build as well that will include a very similar setup but with a much further overbuilt motor.

the turbo manifold was fabricated by a local specialist (near phoenix AZ where i currently reside) who mostly does rotary buildups. the turbo will be a t3/t04e .57 trim for my car. there are zero fitment issues in the engine bay.

this manifold will be available for sale soon, along with other components for turboing the ka motor (downpipe, fuel systems, oiling system, intercooler kits, performance coatings).

Have you checked turbo clearance with the distributor on the motor?

I would assume so, but it looks like it'll be REALLY close to the compressor...making turbo inlet piping a b!tch...???

Nice looking mani, but I was thinking the same thing as Orion. Most likely going to have to move the PS resivoir as well.
Built motor? What fuel/engine control? What kind of driving?

distributor? what distributor?

yes it clears the distributor fine and theres no clearance issues with any part of the power steering or break systems.

built motor is pretty straight forwards in both cases
engine management on one is aem sequential digital, the other is getting a megasquirt (distributor will go byebye)
as far as driving goes one will be a clean s14 street car with way too much power, the other is quickly turning into a weekend/track s14

that looks like an SR bottom mount manifold just flipped upside down with a KA flange welded on...
