Auto to manual Reverse lights

I have an 89 240SX HB I did my sr swap and auto to manual everything works fine except my reverse lights. I was wondering if i could use the sensor off of the SOHC engine because I think the sensor is out. any suggestions?

The sensor isn't on the engine.

These switches are super simple, at first mine did not want to work. I just took it out and cleaned it with carb cleaner, and it works fine.
