i was wondering what turbo manifold and turbo everyone is running and what type of power your are getting from your set up and how they like it.also what is a good set up for good mid range power with low or no turbo lag with 400+hp(20psi) at full boost. i was think the gt-2871r or gt25with a 0.64 Turbine A/R

I think with the perfect mods, 400 whp is achievable on the smaller turbo at 20-22 psi
I know people on 18 pounds are already in the 370 whp range, so if you take 10-15 hp a pound at that boost level...you could be knockin damn near on the door....

Last time I got dyno'ed it was 390...with a .86 AR GT25R (aka GT2540R). A .68 AR will spool better, but won't get you 400 Hp. My car has HKS 264 cams, Tomei 1.2mm HG, 850cc injectors, Greddy knock-off intake, Q45 throttlebody, Z32 mass air sensor inside my 80mm intercooler piping (blow through rather than draw through), UR crank & accessory pulleys, electric fans, Jet-Hot coated header & Tomei O2 outlet pipe with 3" DP & test pipe and dual N1 style exhaust. Tuning is done via ROM tune with a laptop with datalogging & wideband O2 sensor. A wastegated turbo, properly sized will spool quicker & produce more power than an internally actuated one. There are some newer hybrid ball bearing T2 flanged turbos that claim to be able to top 450RWHP, but I'm thinking they'd HAVE to be very laggy in order to do so. Here's what I'm in the process of upgrading to... http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=214_551&products_id=857

I got a blacktop as well. Does the Gt25 40r with the .86 have a lot of lag? Is it a good turbo to win some highway races as well as drifting?
Thanks
