Rear Hubs / Halfshafts

I'm trying to remove the halfshafts from the rear hubs from my s14. Does anyone know how they are connected?
Or have a FSM that they could check for me?

anyway, by lookin at mine (havent taken apart yet), the cotter pin & large nut need to be removed. most splined stub axles are a very tight fit, so may req'r pressing em out. if u have access to an air chisel with a dull-pointed bit there is a dimple in the center of the stub axle to "seat" the bit, then fire away! the stub axle will usually slowly back its way out of the hub. be careful not to chew up the splines if the air chisel gets out of control <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':crazy:'> . hope that helps!
as far as i can tell there isnt anything else holding the stub axle in the hub. i'm sure someone else will jump in if there is!

after you take the cotter pin out and the large nut they should slide right on out pretty easy. at least mine did.

You know what size nut that is? Its bigger than anythin I've got in my set. Gotta go find one to borrow that size.

yeah, i had to go out and buy one, biggest i had was 30mm. If you know any old VW people they might have one. Its the same size as the axle nut on old VWs.
