well, i recently pulled my ignition out, and had it retimed and it runs great but leaned out a little and has this loud tick tick tick when i start it up.....but the tick goes away after a minute of driving.....it does it at idle and then when i rev but when i get past like 2500 it goes away???? what could it be???

oil pump might be getting weak and not putting enough oil into the head until you rev it and make it spin faster. I know it's obvious, but have you checked your oil level and filter? that could be another reason.
other possibilities are stuck lifters but that should make the noise all the time.

well, the oil level is fine......the only thing is that it never did this before i took out the CAS so i dont know why it would be now??

What kind of oil filter are you using? Some brands have crappy anti-drainback valves which basically will cause the engine to run without immediate oil supply upon startup, causing a tick. Get a mechanic's stethoscope & place it on the head & have a friend start it, try to locate where the problem is manifesting itself. A few things it also could be is an oil pump going out as previously mentioned, or possibly if your engine is very dirty inside (very possible with used Japanese motors) maybe one of your cam oilers is clogged. Do you have an oil pressure gauge?
