looks like a thin metal w/ a tiny hole on it. the KA had a wire coming off the starte w/ a connector on the end of it. the SR didn't have that connector or the wire. and then there is the bolt that you connect the ground to. is there something else on there?

spade terminal for starter signal
bolt is used to connect to battery.

I reccomend that you cut off the connector off the stock harness and use a better connection - that stupid spade connector used to fall off my starter all the time - royal PITA.

All I did, was that, I cut that connector w/ the whole length of wire off of the KA starter, then soldered it onto the SR starter.
Works like a charm, everytime.

how bout quick disconnects on the spade terminal connected to stock ka connector? would that be secure enouth? bolt is connected to battery? it's not for the ground that's next to the connector?

There is no ground on the starter, it grounds through the case to the block.

so spade terminal plugs into the harness and the bolt connects directly to the battery. is that it?

sorry guys, but last question b4 i fire her up. there are 3 connections on the starter. one metal piece, one bolt which looks like it's connected to the block already and one bolt w/ nothing. is that where it connects to the battery? On the ka lower harness, there is one plastic piece w/ a ring around it that looks like a ground wire. is that what connects there? b/c it doesn't look like a ground and i cna't find anything else that's on the harness that would go there. help me
